Credit Guarantee Corporation (CGC) visits Sunday SME Bootamp Batch 3 during Session 2 at the Hub

It was a privilege for Lae SME Incubator Hub and our Sunday SME Bootcamp Batch 3 participants to host Tony Delklin and Florence Koga from Credit Guarantee Corporation at the Lae SME Incubator Hub on the 21st, 2026.
During Session 2 of our Sunday SME Bootcamp Batch 3, they shared valuable insights on how CGC helps PNG SMEs access finance through loan guarantees.
Our Batch 3 participants were informed on:
1. How CGC loan guarantees work and reduce risks for banks
2. What lenders look for when assessing SME loan applications
3. Steps SMEs can take to become “bank ready” and improve access to funding
Access to finance from the financial institutions is one of the biggest challenges for SMEs in Morobe. Credit Guarantee Cooperation’s support for SMEs accessing funding is a great step the Bank of PNG has taken to improve the growth of businesses in PNG.

Sunday SME Boot Camp
The Sunday SME Boot Camp - is a Basic Business Start-Up Skills Training, is a 4-session training, held every fortnight Sunday for 8 weeks. It is a specialized program designed to assist aspiring entrepreneurs in launching their businesses. If you're eager to kickstart your own venture, this program is tailored just for you. It provides valuable guidance to break free from old habits, change your mindset and encourages effective saving strategies for initiating and managing your business successfully.
Registration Fee is K80 for all 4 sessions.
